National Background Data Announces Nation's Largest Private Criminal Records Database.National Background Data, LLC (NBD), a privately held company, today announced it has assembled what it believes to be the largest collection of criminal records outside of the FBI. This collection includes 35 statewide criminal records databases from 30 states, 27 states on line, with more on order.
