InfiniSource, Inc.: New Generation Internet Optimizer Software From the Firm
That Started It All!
PORTLAND, Ore., Sept 11 /PRNewswire/ --
Rose City Software, the software division of InfiniSource.com, announces the
release of TweakMASTER, a new generation Internet Optimizer software, which will
speed up Internet connections for all Windows users regardless of their Windows
version or type of connection.
TweakMASTER was developed in collaboration with a leading software
development firm, Hagel Technologies, which is based in Israel. Rose City
Software, widely regarded as the pioneer in Internet Optimizer software, first
popularized the MaxMTU Fix for Windows back in 1996 on their popular Windows
Resource Center website at http://www.InfiniSource.com/. Releasing their first
shareware utility, TweakDUN, in 1997 changed the face of the Internet as dozens
of firms rushed to copy what InfiniSource had begun.
"So significant was the MaxMTU Fix for Windows," explains Joseph
Burke, CEO of InfiniSource, "that Microsoft themselves changed their
approach in Windows 98 and included modifications in the Network Applet of the
Windows Control Panel to accommodate some of these changes."
"With the changes in Windows 2000 and XP and the proliferation of
Broadband access to the Internet, a new generation Optimizer was needed,"
says Haim Gelfenbeyn, CEO and lead programmer for Hagel Technologies.
"TweakMASTER meets this need and leads the way for faster connectivity for
the 21st century."
TweakMASTER employs some highly innovative technology to improve data
transfer rates for all types of Internet connections. Even AOL users have
reported significantly more responsive connectivity. TweakMASTER also includes
an intelligently designed DNS Caching tool for faster web surfing, an automatic
PC clock synchronization utility, and ISP Disconnect Prevention for AOL users.
TweakMASTER was released late last week as a CNET Exclusive on their
Download.com site. TUCOWS.com, a leading Internet software download site on the
Internet, awarded TweakMASTER their top rating of 5 cows, unprecedented for a
new release. And so impressive is this new utility that it has already been
scheduled for induction into the Microsoft(R) and WUGNET Shareware Hall of Fame
for the week of Sept 16, 2001.
"It's like deja vu all over again," chuckles Burke. "We
changed the game in 1997 and we are once again reshaping the face of the
Internet in 2001. Our initial feedback on TweakMASTER has been nothing short of
phenomenal. This one looks like a real winner."
